Bartow County 6/30/14

This morning, I went birding at various spots around Bartow County. Highlights include lifers Grasshopper Sparrow and Dickcissel as well as Georgia-bird Horned Lark. I heard and saw all three of these species fairly well. This is a rural area with varied habitat – some of which is different from anything I could find closer to home. It was cool to spend time birding in this type of grass/scrub-land habitat. Lists and photos are below.
